Thanks for taking the time to make it all the way to this page that tells you everything you ever wanted to know about wedding photography pricing, and why wedding photography pricing is directly related to the quality of service and images you will have for the rest of your natural life. First, you may want to ask yourself a few questions, starting with the simplest, "What is it worth to me to have top quality wedding images?". Second, "Can I afford not to have the one thing in all my wedding planning that will outlast everything else except, of course, the marriage itself?". And what exactly is the definition of "quality", "experience", "fun" and "originality"? Let's take the last, "originality", first. If you are looking at my wedding images, you will see images that are at once familiar and also unique images you have perhaps seen copied from my styling. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and I am flattered on occasion. What do I mean by "fun"? Fun is what you have when you have a photographer who takes care of you on that special, exciting whirlwind day. There are two things besides photography, that set me apart from the rest of the massive crowd known as "weekend warriors". One, I make things happen for you, and two, I blend in with everything going on - it really isn't about the photographer now is it? When I deliver images to people and they say again, and again, "I didn't even know you were there," - that's when I know what sets my photography apart from the rest. Whether or not a photographer has experience is a directly related to "quality". Sure, uncle Bob can spend his retirement savings on cameras, but really? An education in photography is also directly related to "quality". Dealing with hundreds of brides, grooms and family numbering in the thousands over the years - certainly effects the "quality" of service and final product. In coming days and weeks, I will scour the internet and create a new page of images from other wedding photographers to show you what quality, and creativity isn't. I have also been an instructor as well as photographer for years, so I am sure the photographers will appreciate my frank and honest evaluations of their work. There's so much out there this project may take awhile, but in the meantime, feel free to contact me directly at nine-four-0-three-eight-0-0-four-0-eight and tell me what it's worth to you to have top quality wedding images. I will listen to anyone and entertain any ideas on pricing you may want to throw my way. When NOT to Hire a Photographer If it's a regular portrait session, and the photographer suggests you all wear white, or doesn't suggest something other than white. If the photographer is part of or running some type of contest. If there are points or a point system. If they have another job that could effect their availability at the last minute - if the word "hobby" comes out of their mouth.
